Editable SVG charts from your CSV

Image models are bad at arithmetic: they redraw numbers rather than plotting them. Paper Banana's Chart Lab renders bars and lines directly from the values you paste and exports an editable SVG.

Open Chart Lab

In short

  • Paste CSV values; the chart is rendered deterministically.
  • Bars or lines, plotted from your numbers.
  • Download a fully editable SVG.
  • Chart Lab does not spend generation credits.

Why not ask an image model for a chart?

A generated chart can look right while the bar heights, tick values or legend are wrong. For anything numerical in a paper, the values must come from your data.

How to use Chart Lab

  1. Paste CSV with a header row.
  2. Choose bars or lines.
  3. Download the SVG and adjust fonts, colours and sizes in your editor.

Where the SVG opens

Figma, Illustrator, Inkscape, PowerPoint — or any text editor, since SVG is plain markup.

Frequently asked questions
